We have someting more in common besides being over 45 [img]biggrin.gif[/img] and loving AG dolls.
I too collect Nativity(s). Do you keep them out year around? I DO!
I also collect fridge magnets also. My son who now is 21 bought me a UGLY frog at the dollar store for Christmas when he was five years old. I just love that UGLY frog and proudly still have it on my Fridge.

It's good that you have this forum to share in. I know that other "older" girls have shared that friends and family are unsupportive here, so it's neat that there are many of you older "kids" who collect and play still, and of course all of us who are in 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's plus!
I would probably say to just not ask for AG stuff from them, and I guess not talk about it really either, but don't give it up if you don't want to. They might come around on their own, but it sounds like they don't want to hear any explaining.
I guess people just feel weird about them being dolls, but it's just like any interest that others have, like Star Trek, as was mentioned.
Just know that we support you, and vent here if you need to.
Elle - is your dad supportive of AG? Maybe you can keep a couple of dolls and some accessories at his house for when you visit. And if you spend your own money to buy AG things, you can also keep them there.
